ENVIRONMENT SHAPES CHARACTER

(Ourense province, Galicia, Spain).
Our wines are part of the D.O. Ribeiro region,
at the confluence of the valleys formed by
the rivers Miño, Avia and Arnoia.

The personality of our wines is marked by a Mediterranean-type
climate softened by the influence of the Atlantic.
A slightly continental character, together with the prevailing winds,
mean there is a big temperature difference between day and night,
which favours slow ripening, aromatic power and natural crispness.
Our terrain, surrounded by hillsides, terraces and retaining walls,
is what gives us a microclimate of our own, well aired and sunny.

The sense of the winery and the making of our wines are
based on respect for the environment and a detailed study
of every one of our plots.
In technical terms, we have a range of systems to detect
problems with plant health and humidity.
They are of great help in coping with any issues in a natural way,
with the smallest possible footprint on the ecosystem.
We take painstaking care
over every process. We do
this while respecting the integrity of
the wine, avoiding any disturbance to it,
preserving all its aromas and
expressiveness. This is an obsession
that always drives us and does
not keep count of time.
